This photo of Meaghan and I was at a homeschool group party in February 2016. We had such a fun time with the other moms and children. It has been such a joy being friends with Meaghan, Chris, Christopher and Chloe the last few years. We met in 2015 when the kids joined the homeschool group I was running. Meaghan had such great faith in God. It was encouraging to see it.
Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same understanding, because the one who suffers in the flesh IS FINISHED WITH SIN,
in order to live the remaining time in the flesh no longer for human desires, but for God’s
will.
1 Peter 4:1-2
I believe this truth-that when we suffer well, we become more like Jesus & are prepared for heaven. Suffering has a purpose in our lives.
Dear friends, don’t be surprised when the
fiery ordeal comes among you to test you as if something unusual were happening to you.
13 Instead, rejoice as you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may also rejoice with great joy when his glory is revealed.
1 Peter 4:12-13
Meaghan is experiencing all the fullness of God, the Father, Christ Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit RIGHT NOW! We miss her and her presence, but she is in the most glorious place and I am so joyful to know that fact!
Love in Christ Jesus,
