She ended up working at Baptist Health in New York and at Brightstar Home Health Care in Florida where she was a shining star. Every patient she was in contact with all said the same thing, resulting in her becoming employee of the month countless times for the level of care she took for her patients, her friendly spirit, her positive outlook, her level of tolerance and her kindness that she had was admired enormously.
Maureen was a devoted, loving mother to her three children, Lenworth,Simone, and Daniel, whom she loved dearly with everything she had in her.
Maureen was a resilient, kind, caring, selfless, hard worker, who had a heart of gold-willing to help anyone she came in contact with. Even if she didn't have, she would always find a way to ensure others were okay. In her spare time and during her retirement, she enjoyed doing home improvements, spending time with her children & grandchildren (De'Angelo & Jade), watching her "shows", traveling-especially going on cruises, going to get donuts with her granddaughter Jade or taking her to Chuck E. Cheese. If you saw her, you would see her with Jade, De'Angelo, or one of her children. She was known for her beautiful smile, calm temper, unwavering kindness, and her easy-going disposition.
