Mary "Gan Gan" Zipperer's Obituary
Mary “Gan Gan” Zipperer, 82, passed away July 11, 2017. She was born August 29, 1934 in Carlton, Georgia to the late William and Melba (Stevens) Tiller. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Graden Zipperer; and sister, Billie Bowe.
Mary came to Tampa in 1944 from Carlton, Georgia and was a Baptist. She was a huge fan of Trump and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was loving and raising all of them.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Charlotte Slaughter (Chuck) of Temple Terrace; son, Michael Zipperer (Corey) of South Carolina; brother, William Tiller (Linda) of Tallahassee; sisters, Peggy Nelson (Richard) of Tampa and Joan Tiller of Orlando; grandchildren, Shawn (Kim), Samantha, Jacquelyn (Charles), Jennifer, Grady, Zachary and Henry; great grandchildren, Trevyn, Camryn, Danielle, Damoni, Dejah, Cynthia, Megan and Kolton.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:30 am at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592.
