Mary Katherine Anderson's Obituary
Mary Katherine (Kuhn)(Hammond) Anderson, 78, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2016. She was born September 5, 1938 in St. Petersburg, Florida to the late Joseph and Mary Helen (Presstman) Kuhn. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa; and her previous husband, Richard Hammond.
Mary graduated from Avon Park High School and proudly served in the United States Navy. She was employed many years for the Avon Park Corrections and was an Episcopalian.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Terry Anderson of Avon Park; sons, Richard Hammond and his wife Deborah; and Bill Hammond and his wife Charise; brother, George Kuhn and his wife Pat of Delray Beach, Florida; sisters, Esther Lofton of Destin, Florida; and Eleanor Kalish of Sarasota, Florida; grandchildren, Erica, Katie, Stephanie, John, Joseph, Clara and Norah; great-granddaughter, Layla; and 8 nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Old St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church Cemetery, 2120 19th Street South, St. Petersburg, Florida. Memories and condolences may be left online at www.sunset-fh.com.
