Martin Perez's Obituary
Martin Perez, 97, passed away March 6, 2018. He was born November 11, 1920 in Mariel, Cuba to the late Mateo and Bienvenida Perez. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 10 siblings.
Martin came to Tampa in 1967 from Cuba. He was a catholic and loved going to the beach, playing tennis, fishing, cooking and most of all, spending time with his beautiful family.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Mercedes; daughters, Maida Sanchez and her husband Pablo; Ivonne Espinosa and her husband Esteban; Meybol Rosquete and her husband Benny; son, Luis Perez and his wife Carol all of Tampa; brother, Jose Perez and his wife Zenaida of Miami; grandchildren, Javier, Ivanna, Pablo, Arley, Osbel, Noely, Danny, Erica, Ashley, Nichole and Anthony; great grandchildren, Adriel, Oliver, Alayna and Kirena.
There will be a funeral mass on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Incarnation Catholic Church, 8220 W. Hillsborough Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33615. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Tampa.
