I just learned of Marsha's passing a few days ago and cannot stop thinking of her. She was one of my very best friends in high school and there were so many good times spent with Marsha, Ginger Westfall, Janet Thacker and Bonnie Smith. She was so smart, funny and sarcastic....never a dull moment in Marsha's company. I still clearly can picture her sweet mom and dad and ...in particular...one political discussion her dad had with sister Julie on one of her visits home. He was for Barry Goldwater and she was not....enough said!! Her sister Cathy was so little...maybe 4 or so...but so so smart...we all got such a kick out of her! I remember all the weekends spent at their lake house at Indian Lake...we sometimes snuck out after her parents went to bed and had many adventures...we were very lucky to have always made it back without her parents being any wiser! There were so many other good times at Marsha's house(when her parents were in Florida) especially on Sunday afternoons when there would be 8-10 juniors and seniors hanging out, listening to music and dancing. Marsha had her own car would pick my sister and me up most mornings for school. We were so cool because she was so cool!! I just found out about Marsha's death through an Ohio University publication and am so sad. At Wilbur Wright H.S., I had some of the best times ever with Marsha and Helene Horvat. Marsha and I both went to O.U., and she often provided the transportation for trips home. In fact, Marsha drove me home when my mom died our sophomore year. Although I tried contacting Marsha over the years, I was unsuccessful. I'm glad to know she had a successful career and the love and support of her best friend. My sympathy to Jennifer Johnson.

I just found out about Marsha this week. I cannot stop thinking about her and am so sad that she passed on.

We were roommates at Hays Hall at Ohio U. and good friends. Oh, we had so many laughs together! There were hours long bridge games when we should have been studying; trips to Club 33 in Marsha's car; the adoption of an unauthorized, flea-bitten kitten; and long talks about how to solve the world's problems.

Marsha looked out for all of us and never let us take ourselves or our problems too seriously. She had such a great sense of humor! She always insisted that there were extra terrestials at WP Air Force Base!

Kathy, I know I met you at least once. You were very young at that time.

I tried to find Marsha on FaceBook but never did. I will never forget her.

I am so sorry to hear of Marsha’s passing. She was a good person who loved animals, fishing, football, and basketball. When getting to work early, I would overhear her speaking with her Sister(s) to catch up on things. She spoke highly of her Nieces and Nephews, especially Katie & Michael, and would give me the latest details of her visits. Marsha was a great co-worker and will be missed. Prayers to the Family and hang on to the good memories of her.

Marsha hired me to work at USF and we worked together for almost 15 years. She was a no-nonsense leader. But also remembering the football games, the casino trips (Marsha was luckier there than I ever was), and the trips to Gainesville and Tallahassee. But I think my best memory was at Marsha's house when a duck came up and "marched" us down to the pond - quacking orders the entire time - to get all the ducks fed.
