Margie Rose Ellerbee's Obituary
Margie Rose Ellerbee passed away August 21, 2017 in Lecanto, Florida as the solar eclipse crossed the sky. She was a native Floridian born in Winter Haven in 1925. She is preceded in death by her parents Alexander Theodore Webb and Emma Pearl (Ausley) Webb; her beloved husband Curtis F. Ellerbee passed in 1985.Her daughters Susan McCain and Georgina Ellerbee and grandchildren Baby Gunn and Suzy Hardeman were also waiting for her in heaven. Margie retired from Pixie Playmates as a seamstress supervisor at the age of 65 and spent her retirement as an avid gardener. She was a good cook and loved the outdoors. She had a wonderful sense of humor and sense of adventure about her, and enjoyed taking trips to the Great Smoky Mountains twice a year . Left to cherish her memory include her daughter Wanda F. Thompson and her husband Jerry M. Thompson of Dunnellon, Florida and her daughter Theresa A. Gunn of Holiday, Florida. Her grandchildren Brandon M. Thompson, of Lake Mary, FL; Heather M. Thompson , of Dunnellon, FL; Emili C Thompson of Inverness, FL, and Jami D. Gunn of Holiday, FL will miss her dearly. Her great grandchildren Zayden C. Thompson, Zackori R. Scalf and Gregory A. Scalf will be the continuation of her legacy.
