Mamie Paolillo's Obituary
Mamie Paolillo, 88, passed away May 12, 2017. She was born December 10, 1928 in New Jersey to the late, Salvatore and Mary (Musso) Pinna. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Paolillo; granddaughter, Brittany Zipter; grandson, Stephen Zipter; and several siblings.
Mamie came to the Tampa area in 1976 from North Babylon, New York. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Bells and Bachelors. She worked at Bealls Department Store for 25 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Lenny Paolillo and his wife Christine of St. James, New York; and Joseph Paolillo and his wife Lauren of Largo; and Vincent Paolillo and his wife Regina of Lakeland; daughter, Patty Zipter and her husband Brian of Lutz; brothers, James Pinna of Lake Worth, Florida and Sal Pinna of Port St. Lucie, Florida; sister, Rosanne Clementi of Tampa, Florida; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 North US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 15520 North Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33613 followed by interment in Sunset Memory Gardens.
