His wisdom and strength inspired everyone around him, as he was always ready to extend a helping hand. A man of deep convictions and values, he dedicated his life to both his family and his distinguished military career, achieving the esteemed rank of Colonel in the General Staff of the Ecuadorian Army, where he proudly represented his beloved country around the world. Luis Ramiro is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Toscano; his children, Ramiro Esteban, Luis Renato (spouse María del Rosario), and Santiago David; his beloved grandchildren, Esteban Nicolás and Mateo David; and his dear sister, Violeta. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jorge, and Angela, as well as his siblings, Hilda, Elsa, Magdalena, and Jorge. Luis Ramiro was not only a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and devoted friend, but he was also a passionate lover of literature, music, dancing, and great food. His exemplary character and the kindness and generosity he consistently showed left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be fondly remembered by countless friends and family members whose lives he touched, and his legacy will be cherished forever. A memorial service to honor the life of Luis Ramiro Romero will take place on Saturday, November 9, at 12:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home. The family is deeply grateful for the prayers and comforting words received during this time. Rest in peace, dear Luis Ramiro. May your memory continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who had the privilege of loving and knowing you, forever guiding us with the light of your love.

Ramiro fue un querido esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo devoto, un hombre ejemplar que dejó una huella imborrable en la vida de quienes lo conocieron. Nacido el 15 de Febrero de 1941 en Tambillo, Ecuador; Luis Ramiro fue conocido por su espíritu generoso, su incansable ética de trabajo, y su amor por la familia y la comunidad. Durante su vida, compartió su sabiduría y fortaleza con todos aquellos que lo rodeaban, siempre dispuesto a tender una mano y a brindar su apoyo. Fue un hombre de profundas convicciones y valores, que dedicó su vida a su familia y a su carrera militar llegando al grado de Coronel de Estado Mayor del Ejército de Ecuador y representando con mucho orgullo su país en diferentes naciones. Luis Ramiro era amante de la buena lectura. Le sobreviven su esposa, Patricia Toscano, sus hijos, Ramiro Esteban, Luis Renato (María del Rosario) y Santiago David, sus nietos, Esteban Nicolás y Mateo David, su querida hermana, Violeta y sobrinos. Fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Jorge y Ángela, así como por sus hermanos, Hilda, Elsa, Magdalena y Jorge. Su partida deja un vacío inmenso, pero también un legado de amor y generosidad que perdurará en el corazón de todos. El servicio memorial en honor a Luis Ramiro Romero se llevará a cabo el Sábado 9 de Noviembre a las 12:00 P.M. en Sunset Funeral Home.
