I WORKED WITH LUIS AT TAMPA GREYHOUND TRACK FOR MANY YEARS--NEVER A DAY WHERE HE WAS NOT SMILING BUT THE SMILE ALWAYS GOT BRIGHTER WHEN HIS WIFE CARLA WOULD COME OUT TO THE RAIL AREA OF THE TRACK FROM HER OFFICE AND BRING HIM LUNCH OR A SNACK--I WITNESSED THIS MANY TIMES FROM MY PERCH IN THE ANNOUNCERS BOOTH--TRUE LOVE ON A DAILY BASIS FOR SURE--LUIS,YOU WILL BE MISSED BY MORE PEOPLE THAN YOU COULD EVER HAVE DREAMED OF---REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND FROM CHARLIE HOYT
Carla, from the first time we met Louie it was obvious that you had found your soul mate. Your love for each other radiated between you and spilled over to everyone around you.
