Linda Marie Johnson's Obituary
Linda M. Johnson, 82, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 2, 1943, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, Linda lived a life defined by generosity, kindness, and an unwavering devotion to those she loved.
Linda was a warm-hearted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She found joy in the simple, meaningful parts of life, such as cooking meals for her family, spending time with her grandchildren, and caring deeply for animals. Her gentle spirit and her ability to make others feel welcomed and loved will be remembered always.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary (Krause) Kerkhoff. Linda is survived by her brother, Jonathon Kerkhoff; her daughters, Debbie Charboneau and Lori Burnett; and her cherished granddaughters, Samantha and Danielle.
A service to honor Linda’s life will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens on January 30, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to two of Linda’s favorite charities: The Humane Society of Tampa Bay or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, reflecting her lifelong compassion for animals and children.
