Lidesia Mesa's Obituary
Lidesia Mesa passed away peacefully among family on August 21st, 2020. She was 87.
Lidesia was born in Pontevedra, Spain; she was a resident of Chicago, IL for 15 years and for the last 40 years she resided in Tampa, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose R. Mesa.
Lidesia is survived by her children Maria (Jim) Meneghini, Esperanza Huse, Luisa (Jesus) Leanos, Margot (Alfredo) Ramentol, and Jose Mesa.
She was a devoted grandmother of 9: Simon (Candice) Leanos, Felix (Ligia), Santos, Adam Leanos, Michael Meneghini, Raquel (Michael) Ounanian, Thomas (Karina) Meneghini, Christina (Ramiro) Guillermo, Pablo (Kim) Ramentol, and Nicholas Ramentol; and 16 great-grandchildren: Sean, Memo, Armando, Ashley, Patti, Bella, Austin, Gracie, Lina, Elijah, Ethan, Leah, Angel, Cameron, Cali, and Pablito Jr.
She is also survived by her sister, Nieves Guerra and brother Jose Romelo Guerra, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Carmen Guerra.
Due to Covid 19, a private memorial will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens on Saturday, September 5th at 11:00.
There will be an online viewing of the memorial service available on the Sunset Funeral Home website.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lidesia's honor can be made to St. Jude Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
