Lester Henry Colegrove's Obituary
Lester Henry Colegrove, 87, of Myakka City FL passed away on October 20, 2022, surrounded by his family.
Lester was born on December 3, 1934, in Livonia, NY the son of Myron Nelson and Hilda Amanda Bennett Colegrove. Lester is survived by his sons: Randy Blackburn and Michael Colegrove; daughter: Amber Izydorek; 8 grandchildren; sister: Barbara Thacker; 1 niece and 1 nephew. Lester was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Luke Skroch.
Lester was a member of the Showmen’s Association. He was a US Army Veteran and a 50-year member of Phoenix Masonic Lodge #346 in Sarasota, FL.
Services to celebrate Lester’s life will be at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL with a visitation at 12pm and Masonic Services beginning at 1pm on Friday, November 11, 2022. Entombment with military honors will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa, FL.
All are invited for a time of fellowship at the Showmen's Club, 6915 Riverview Dr. Riverview, FL on Friday, November 11, 2022 from 3:00-4:30 PM.
