I met Mr. Alderman in 1992. He was assigned to the telecommunication team in support of Hurricane Andrew, and I was 18-year-old working in the warehouse trying to figure life out. Mr. Alderman took me under his wing and thought me telephony, he was patient and strict at times but was willing to share his knowledge and experience with me.
