Larry Reed's Obituary
Larry C. Reed of Lutz, FL passed away on Thursday February 9,2023 with his Family by his side.
Larry was born on May 18, 1957 in New Brunswick New Jersey. He moved to Florida in 1963 when he was only 6 years old. He moved with his Father Kenneth Paul Reed and mother Mary Veronica Reed along with his siblings.
Larry was a fun, loving, and giving man whom never meet a stranger. He would give the shirt off his back and he had a contagious laugh that always brightened the room. He loved to sing and laugh over a few beers with his friends and family. His favorite pass time was spoiling his grandkids and great grandkids.
His passion was to spend every Sunday of football season cheering on his Tampa Bay Bucs. He enjoyed doing word searches in his downtime which was not often as Larry loved to work. He worked at the Tampa Grey Hound track for years before he spent 26 years at Hillsborough County School Board which he retired from. He spent many nights and weekends doing a variety of side jobs. He was definitely a jack of all trades.
Larry is survived by his wife of 37 years; Sandy Reed, His two Daughters, Steph and son-in-law Bryant; youngest daughter Kayla and partner Doug. Five grandchildren; Bub & fiancé Katie, Faye Faye, Des, Kenna, & Bri and two great grandchildren; Kolt & Hayleigh along with baby Kasey on the way. His siblings; Kenny, Patty, Jimmy, Betty, Donna, and Rhonda with many nieces and nephews.
Larry was proceeded in death by his parents; Kenneth & Mary along with his brother Donnie.
Larry had a significant impact on many lives. He will be missed dearly and will be forever in our hearts.
