Kenneth D Rought's Obituary
Kenneth D. Rought passed away October 1, 2021 at the age of 90 in Zephyrhills, Florida. His battle with Alzheimer issues in recent years showed his courage with facing life challenges. Ken met the love of his life, Lois, while serving in the Air Force, while being stationed at McDill AFB in Tampa FL. in 1952. Together they had two children: Janice (Steve) Wymer and Wayne (Diane) Rought. Ken was preceded by his wife Lois, his parents Guy and Delila Rought, two brothers, and five sisters. He is survived by his two children, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters. Ken retired from working with Food Service Equipment Company in Tampa Fl after 38 years. He enjoyed hunting, camping and raising his cows along with working at
their church, First Baptist Church of Riverview, FL.
Services will be held on Friday October 8, 2021 at Sunset Memory Gardens located at 11005 N. Hwy 301, Thonotosassa, FL. Visitation will be from 9:00am till 10:00, service will be in the chapel from 10:00am till 11:00 and followed by graveside service at 11:00am. He will be honored for his
military service at the graveside service.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
