I am saddened to learn about Kenny. Kenny was a very unique individual and was one of a kind. His love for his wife and family was like no other. Kenny was a dear friend. He was there for me when I lost my husband, father and mother. Even though we didn't work together any longer he would still stop in and give me a big bear hug and we would spend a few minutes catching up on the kids and grandkids. We would both bring out our phones and compare pictures and wonder where the time went. Kenny will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him and his beautiful family. Rest in peace my friend. Never good byes, only until we meet again.

Ken and I went to Chamberlain High School and he graduated that year we had great times.
I came back to the Lutz area after the service in the Army in 1976 we were best friends while I worked in the steel mill. I have been keeping in touch throughout the years while I lived in California. Since I moved back to Florida I really enjoyed fishing at with Ken.

My dearest memory is of Kenny and my dad playing pool at his mom, Doris Portwood, house. Him and my dad were having a grand time cracking jokes and shooting pool. I am going to miss him so much. RIP KENNY and say Hi to the family for me. Love Cheryl Lynn and family

Vicky and the Portwood family, I cant tell you how sad I am to hear of Kenny’s passing. He was such a good friend and one that I could always count on to be there for me.

I know how much he cherished his family, (especially those grand babies!,)and how much the time he spent with them meant to him. He always talked about those trips to Maggie Valley and how much fun you guys had!

He was truly a good man, and I’ll miss him.

in honor of Kenneth.

I was devistated to hear that Kenny passed. I worked with him at Sunstate for 7 years and I can't even begin to tell you all the crazy things that happened in 7 years but my favorite thing was during Hurricane Ian, they made us come to work and I said "Kenny, lets go for a test drive" he didn't even hesitate and off we went in a box truck and got rerouted through 6' of water over by the bay. We both laughed the whole time because Kenny wasn't scared to drive in that mess.

I moved back to NY in March of last year and he helped me load up the truck with my tools, I spoke to him a few times after being back here but sadly I didn't talk to him recently. I will remember all of the stories he told over and over as they are now permanently seared into my head. My condolences to the family and as Kenny would say on every test drive with his foot to the floor "it hit 60 before the railroad tracks" even though we weren't test driving for performance.

Love you Kenny, you will be missed
