Kendrik Tyrell Branch: A passionate man with a loving spirit and a creative genius.
Kendrik was born on May 28, 1997 in Tampa, Florida to Rebecca Branch and Rodney McCall. Passing away on August 11, 2025, he leaves behind the legacy of being a multi-faceted creative, an encouraging friend, a loving son and brother, and a devoted future spouse.
Kendrik was a graduate of the 2015 class at T. R. Robinson High School. As a natural born artist who began with drawing in his youth, Kendrik evolved into audible art via rapping for fun his senior year of high school. As a freshman at Florida State University and throughout the years he continued to hone his craft. He self produced his music, collaborated, pushed boundaries, and took risks with his art. Kendrik’s expression also expanded to include drip art, sketching, digital art, 3D Modeling, NFT creations, writing, and tufting. His use of multimedia art forms combined with his entrepreneurial spirit produced several business ventures, most notably DRIPS N RAPS and KENNY TUFTS, yielding custom drip art and custom tufted rugs respectively. From his childhood, to his time in college, and to his time working at the corporate office of Rooms To Go, Kendrik’s brilliance shined.
Kendrik’s passion also included comics, cinema, and making the most out of life with those who meant the most to him. When Kendrik was not engaged in creating art or hobbies, he occupied his time being a servant to those around him. He was quick to help those in need. He was an ear to listen and an overflowing source of wisdom and guidance. In the same breath Kendrik was the type of person that was quick to lighten the mood and make anyone laugh harder than they did that entire day.
Kendrik Branch was a relentless beacon of light in this world and a great example of a selfless human being. Kendrik will be remembered for his generosity, positive attitude, and his character. Most of all, he will be remembered especially for the everlasting impact he made on those around him.
Kendrik is survived by his mother, Rebecca Branch; father, Rodney McCall; life partner, Aaliyah Gordon. Siblings: Kobe, Kaylee, Raven, Rodney, Rodney, Rodney, Ryundai, Emerald, and Rome; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and many loyal and faithful friends. All whom he loved very much.
