Juana Ramos Moctezuma's Obituary
Juana Ramos Moctezuma, 88, passed away July 4, 2015. She was born July 25, 1927 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico to the late Ambrosio Ramos and Julia Moctezuma. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carmelo Ortiz; son, Heriberto Ortiz; grandson, Quentin Vargas; and brother, Narciso Ramos.
Juana was a seamstress and a Catholic. She came to Hillsborough County in 2004 from Puerto Rico. She enjoyed her plants, Latin music, cruises, traveling, the beach and most of all, spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Carmen M. Vargas and her husband Harry; grandchildren, Kina M. Wyche and her husband, Steveland, Ivelisse Ortiz and Amanda Ortiz; great-grandchildren, Seth Wyche, Kianna Wyche, Yenay Jair Aponte Ortiz, Stacy Lee Zelaya and Lizvelisse Bermudez-Ortiz.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, July 8th, 2015 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursday, July 9th, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida. Funeral service will follow at noon. Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.
