Josue Abdias Pimentel's Obituary
Josue Abdias Pimentel, 40, passed away August 11, 2015. He was born January 24, 1975 in Passaic, New Jersey. He came to Tampa in 1997 from Dallas Texas. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Christian Ministry from Lee University.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 20 years, Gladys; children, Abigail, Josue and Bethany Pimentel; parents, Samuel and Margarita; siblings, Margarita Velez and her husband Elvin; Sam Pimentel and his wife Mary; Abdias Pimentel and his wife Valerie; Siria Nunez and her husband Jorge; Jonathon Pimentel and his wife Whitney; Elias Olivero and his wife Giselle; his 2nd mother, Santa Rios; siblings, David & Marie, Gisela, Carlos and Jennifer and Alberto; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Josue was a pastor at Bethel Church of God in Tampa and was a local and regional youth director. He served at youth camps and was devoted to ministry and helping others. Josh enjoyed softball, going on cruises, photo bombing, movies, road trips, hanging out with his family and friends and was a huge Yankees fan.
There will be a visitation Friday, August 14, 2015 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at City Life Church, 8411 N. Dale Mabry, Tampa, Florida 33614. Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM at LSA, La Senda Antigua, 4810 N. Howard Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33603. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
