Joseph Michael Rogers (Joey) 34, of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away on April 25th, 2022. Joseph was born October 2nd, 1987 in Brooklyn, New York. Joey is survived by his two beautiful children; Mya and Jayden , their mother Ashley. His parents, Michael and Lucia. His siblings; Ursula, Beverly, Christopher and April. His nieces and nephews; Dylan, Vanessa, Jacob, Jermaine, Ethan, Xander, Noah and other extended family.
Joey spent his adults years dedicated to helping others as he was a well-respected mentor among the children he worked with in his past occupation. Joey had a great sense of humor, always giving a joke bringing laughter and joy to others.
Joey was a devoted father and family man who had a profound love for nature, culture, music and above all family.
Services for Joseph will be on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home with visitation being from 12:00 PM until the services at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
