Jose Miguel Reyes' Obituary
A remarkable young man, Son, Brother and Grandson, with a great sense of Creativity, friendly, fun and a loving Person.
He was born at Scripps Mercy Hospital at 7:02 a.m. in Chula Vista, California, on a day when Grandparents Day was being celebrated. Though his due date was August 16, he chose his own moment, arriving a week and a half later on August 28.
Jose was a Virgo who loved the color blue, enjoyed eating spaghetti, and had a deep passion for theatre. His love for the arts shined through in everything he did.
His favorite movie was The Greatest Showman, and his favorite song was “My Shot” from Hamilton—a reflection of his bold spirit and love for expression.
He grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, where he discovered his voice as a writer and creator. He wrote two books, The Rift Below and Through the Hallow Sky, under the name ShadoVenomm. He also created a poetry channel on TikTok called Shado’s Poetry, where he shared his thoughts, creativity, and heart with others.
Jose will always be remembered for his creativity, his passion, and the light he brought into the lives of those who knew and loved him.
