I just found out today that my Raider buddy passed away...8 months later. I used to frequent Vallartas for lunch and every time I walked in Luis would talk to me about our beloved Raiders. That was definitely our bond; that and the fact he was so friendly and easy to talk with.
I went in today to have a beer and I asked if he was in today, then the waiter delivered to me the devastating news. It almost knocked me out off my chair. Needless to say I was shocked, saddened and disappointed I wouldn't be able to exchange pleasantries with him in the future.
Luis, I officially dedicate the 2019 Raider Season to you my friend. Say hello to Al for me! RIP Buddy.

I know I am a bit late in posting but I literally just found out about this. Luis was always a pleasure to talk to. I feel like just the other day we were laughing at the bar at his restaurant. As loyal customers Luis treated us like friends...like family. Mine and my family’s hearts go out to Luis and his family. I hope you’re finding joy and the good life up there❤️

We’ve been customers of Luis since he opened Vallartas in Lutz. He must have been a good boss because so many of his employees had been there from the start We will truly miss his pleasant face when we walk in the door. Peace and love to his family and friends.
