Jose Antonio Ching Gutierrez's Obituary
Jose Antonio Ching Gutierrez, 86, of Ciego de Avila, Cuba passed away on July 25, 2022, Accompanied by his wife, Elda, at Gulfside Hospice Center, in Zephyrhills, FL.
Jose (Nico) was born February 12, 1936 to Rafael Ching and Eloisa Gutierrez in Ciego de Avila, Cuba.
After graduating from accounting, he worked for Figueroa’s car dealer.
Jose was blessed with a loving family. Jose and Elda married, their romance lasted 49 years and they were blessed with two wonderful children and five grandchildren.
Jose loved to read the Bible, and had a strong faith in God. He loved helping people. Jose made many friends along the way; he was just the kind of person who drew people in. He never lost his innocent spirit and love for life. Anyone who knew Jose, knew that he was the most loving father a family could ask for and the colleague you could always count on.
Jose was predeceased by his father, Rafael; mother, Eloisa; sister, Eduvige; and brother, Rogelio. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Elda; their children Jose and Rafael, their spouses, Adiarys and Yibell; and grandchildren.
You never said You were parting, you never said goodbye. You passed before we knew it, and only God knew why. A thousand times we needed you, a million times we cried. If love alone could have protected you, you never would have left. In life we loved you extremely, and after passing, we still do. In our hearts you embraced a home that no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go unaccompanied. For part of us went with you, the day God took you to heaven.
His friends and family are invited to share happy memories and celebrate Jose’s life in the way he would want to be remembered - as a loving and caring man who enjoyed life.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, located in Thonotosassa Fl on Friday July 29th, 2022 starting at 10:00 AM followed by a 12:00 PM service.
