John S. Myers' Obituary
John Samuel Myers, 70, of Tampa passed away suddenly on 1/3/2020. Sam was born on July 10, 1949 to the late Opal Marie Stover Myers and John Bernard Myers of Indiana.
Sam was a proud Marine and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for Anchor Glass Container for more than 44 years. He was an avid reader, a muscle-car buff with a preference for Mustangs. He was a long-time bowler and could be found at the bowling alley on Monday evenings enjoying the camaraderie of good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Opal Myers, his sister, Sharon Gilbert, two brothers, Bart and Mark Myers.
Sam is survived by his wife, Sylvia Ann Berryhill Myers, daughter Melissa Miller of Ohio, son Charles Bradford of Tampa, granddaughter Maddie Miller and grandson Ryan Miller of Ohio, and his good friend, Ruben Johnson of Zephyrhills, and his little dog, Oscar Myers.
Sam lived life with love, humor, and kindness. He will be greatly missed by many.
