John Alfred Garcia's Obituary
John Alfred Garcia, 83, of Pembroke Pines, FL passed away on January 17, 2022.
John was born in Roatan Honduras on April 18, 1938 and immigrated to Tampa, Florida as a youngster. He attended Jefferson High School and graduated in 1956. While in high school, John met the love of his life, Hope Molina, who he married in 1956. They were married 61 wonderful years until Hope passed away in 2018. John was the life of any party, and loved dancing and traveling with his beloved wife. John lived in the Tampa Bay area his entire working career, primarily in transportation with Ryder PIE and Con-Way Freight. After retirement, John and Hope moved to Pembroke Pines, FL to be closer to their beloved grandchildren. More than anything, his family meant the world to him.
John is survived by his son Art Garcia and 3 grandchildren: Mary Ashley, Elizabeth and Daniel. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Hope Garcia. He will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Saturday, January 29 at 10:30 am, with a visitation being held from 9:30am-10:30am at the funeral home. John will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens.
