Joaquina Diaz's Obituary
Joaquina Diaz was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Joaquina, affectionally known to all as Kina, 91, of Tampa Florida, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024.
She was born in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico in 1933 and moved to Tampa where she resided for many years. Kina met the love of her life, Ramiro who were later married on June 2, 1957. They were the true definition of a match made in heaven and was blessed with 67 years of marriage.
They went on to have four children, Edwin Diaz, Melvin Diaz(deceased), Jacqueline Forrest (spouse-John) and Jannette Diaz; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Kina will always be remembered for her fun loving personality, her love for fishing, sewing, gardening and her undeniable love for Ramiro.
Services will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592 on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 4-6 pm.
