As a child Joan would come to Southern Illinois in the summer to visit her mom's family. We had great times going on picnics and swimming at Ponds Hollow and Dixon Springs!
Lots of great family memories were made that has held us all together. Rest now in your Savior's arms! Prayers for her family!

Many are asking what happen and how did my mom pass away. The long story short is she was not feeling well last week and fell in the middle of the night at her house. She had broken her ankle and had surgery on Thursday, October 3rd. After coming out of surgery she was very disoriented and they realized something else was going on. They found that she had a bad infection (sepsis) and it was leading to septic shock. They put her on diaylsis and very strong antibiotics but the sepsis had lead to septic shock and her organs began to fail. She passed away at 1:55pm on Sunday, October 7th. We ask that you be respectful with too many questions to the family.
