Jo Ann Joyner's Obituary
Jo Ann Joyner, 85, of Wesley Chapel, went to be with the Lord on Sunday August 5, 2018. Jo Ann was born in Orlando, Florida on February 22, 1933 to Luther and Eva Ferguson. Jo Ann worked in Virginia, Thailand, and in Florida as a Civil Servant. She retired from working for the VA Hospital. She enjoyed travelling, winning at BINGO, attending Calvary Tabernacle Church and most importantly being with her family.
Jo Ann is preceded in death by daughter: Judy Webster; stepson: Wayne Joyner; sisters: Norma Lemons, and Bernice Fickey; and her parents.
Left to Cherish the memory of Jo Ann are husband of nearly 50 years Billy Don Joyner; daughters: Barba Mather and Deborah Hattori; step daughter Faye McCullough; grandchildren: Jamie McCullough, Justin Portas, Adam Webster, Stephanie Hattori, Matthew Hattori, Madison Mather, Forest Mather, and Noah Webster; great grandchildren: Alana Portas, Avery Portas, Magnolia Hattori, Melody Hattori, and Jude Webster; sisters: Betty Gillespie, and Linda O’Neal; and a host of other family and friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday August 08, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Memory Gardens 11005 N. US HWY 301 Thonotosassa FL 33592 from 5-7pm. A Service will be held on Thursday August 9, 2018 at 11am at Calvary Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church 10930 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592 with a visitation from 10:30-11 am. A Graveside service to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
