Obituary of Jo Ann Fisher (Williamson)
Jo Ann Fisher, of Lutz, Florida passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday,
June 16, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was 87. Jo Ann was born to
the late Herbert H. and Virginia M. Williamson of Washington Court House, Ohio
on June 18, 1938.
She is survived by her loving husband Gerald E. Fisher and daughters Jeri
Fisher, Tracy Gordon (Doug) and Toni Fleming (Chris); grandchildren Anthony
Gordon (Dana), Bret Gordon (Farrah), Cole Gordon (Lacey), and Beth Cannon;
and great grandchildren Ty, Emilia, Mack, Jaxon, Ivy and Ace Gordon. JoAnn is
also survived by siblings Danny Williamson (Joyce), Patti Cox, and Sharon Baird
and preceded in death by brothers, Harold Edward Wiliamson, Herman (Betty)
Williamson and Robert (Janie) Williamson.
Jo Ann attended Ohio University where she pursued a career in education.
There she met the love of her life and husband of 67 years, Jerry Fisher. She
enjoyed attending Ladies Bible studies, hosting family gatherings, singing,
traveling and sharing a cup of coffee with friends. Jo Ann was a member and
attended Idlewild Baptist Church. She was a wonderful cook and baker.
Jo Ann was a devoted mother, wife and sister. Her strong faith in the Lord has
now carried her into the arms of Jesus.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 27 as follows:
Visitation at 10:30am
and Services at 11:00am
