Mr. Jesus Borrego's Obituary
Jesus Borrego, 80, passed away July 6, 2017 in Tampa. He was born November 6, 1936 in Havana, Cuba to the late Adela and Jesus Borrego. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Carmen Perez. Jesus moved from Cuba in 1962 and joined the U.S. Army, serving his new country. He was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Lawrence Church. Jesus was a dedicated employee for the majority of his career with National Distributors in the spirit industry. He LOVED watching the New York Yankees. He and his wife Concepcion used to have fun when the Yankees and Rays were playing. He routed for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers also. In his spare time he would go to the beach and to the movies; he was known to fall asleep at the theater.
Left to cherish his memory his devoted and strong wife of 48 years Concepcion. His loving daughter Vivian Rodriguez and her husband Carlos. Sister Maria Blanco survives him, along with his nieces Niurka, Diana, Isabel and nephews Angelo and Gustavo. Jesus had many close friends and neighbors that will also miss him.
