She was originally a native of Florida, born in Cocoa, FL to the late Roma Elizabeth and Charles Lawrence Jandreau, where she lived with her three sisters, Donna, Florence, Iva, and one brother, Frederick. She later moved to Tampa where she raised her two daughters and gained an extended family among her Christian brothers and sisters. In 2011, she moved to Burnsville, NC.
Jean is survived by her two daughters and six grandchildren: Felecia Dawn Woody and Husband, Terry. Norma Jean Fabrizio and Husband, Dino. Dalton Woody and Wife, Allison. Anthony Nunez Fabrizio, Samantha Fabrizio, Michael Fabrizio, Kamron Woody, and Isabella (Bella Boo) Fabrizio.
Jean, a devout Christian woman, centered her life around God and simply loved people. She shared her love by dedicating over 20 years working at the Graham Home, an assisted living facility, taking care of the elderly. Till her last breath, Jean did what she loved. In her mind, she was still working at the Graham Home. Her last night of her earthly life, she told Felecia she was “so tired from working”. Felecia replied, “You don’t have to work anymore Mom, you can rest.” Jean is now resting with Family and her Christian brothers and sisters that passed long before her.
From the Family:
Our Mother will always be remembered as one who loved her Family unconditionally. She was our guiding light throughout our lives. Her grandchildren know they could not have asked for a better Grandmother. We will cherish our time we had with her. While we will greatly miss her, we rejoice that she is home now in Heaven. We thank everyone for coming to show their love and support for our mother.
