I met Jason late in his life: I knew him for about the last 6 months he was alive. He was such a bright and shining light, even during one of the darkest times in his life. We used to speak often of our thoughts and feelings about our addictions and how we wished and prayed for our recovery. He would often weep about how he felt horrible about not being "spiritually present" for his daughter. I learned of his passing while I was incarcerated. It saddened me. Now, all I can think of is that my dear and true friend is no longer in pain. Thank you Lord! Fly high, Jason!
