I'm sharing one color family picture taken in May of 1980 with everyone labeled and aunt Pat and uncle Buddy are both in it. Also sharing three black and white pictures from 1961 or '62 taken on the same day in the Akins back yard with aunt Pat prominently in them. I also have these pics on my computer without the name labeling if anyone would like me to message them to them.
Aunt Pat loved to collect small statues of Owls. She also would make us all laugh with the funny nick names she would create and give to and call her children. Jamie was "Tiny", Nathan was "Do" and James was "Tesh". She also created a collective name for all three of them called the "Que que qua qua clan", or sometimes she'd just call them "Qua" for short. Those individual nick names and the collective "Qua clan" nick name stuck with her children for the rest of their lives and are forever in the memory of us older cousins too.
She had a great sense of humor, always a ready laugh, and was a very sweet lady. We've lost another major member of our family and she will be missed and remembered.
I can remember myself as a very young child that aunt Pat and her sisters would come over to our house and tease me about my white BVD underwear I was wearing (I was two or three years old) and I'd squeal and laugh and run under the kitchen table and chairs as they teased me saying...."Ooo shoo, stinky white britches!".
Aunt Pat also gave me my first and only dog I ever owned.
