James F Butler's Obituary
We regret to announce the passing of James Butler, age 79, who passed away peacefully on May 23,2024 in Plant City, Fl. He is survived by his children Jennifer, Steve, Stacy, and Daniel, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and siblings Phebe, Barbara, Joann, Mickey and Randy.
James was preceded in death by his wife Juanita, parents Joseph and Ethel and his sons Jeff and Michael. Jim worked as a switchman at CSX for more than 40 years. He loved spending time with his family, especially at the beach with a fishing pole in his hand. A funeral service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on Friday, May 31st from 9am - 11am and 11am, with interment to follow at Sunset. In lieu of cut flowers, Jim loved to garden and wanted live potted flowers for family and friends to remember him. Jim will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family and friends.
