I’m an employee where Mr.Jack lived with his wife at Osprey Heights and I am very saddened to hear of this news. He was always so kind to all and carried a sincere smile everyday. He was often found walking with his wife who he took wonderful care of & he most certainly loved to rep the TB Lightning in his Jersey! We will miss you Jack!
We all here at Osprey Heights are deeply saddened about Jack’s departure. He was an incredible individual with an amazing sense of humor and a drive like no one else. My heartfelt condolences go out to Jack's family. I was extremely sad to hear this news. I've known Jack since his days with the Tampa Bay Rays and more recently working together with the Tampa Bay Lightning. During our down time I would sit with Jack and listen to his stories. I cherished very one of them and the wisdom he would share with me. His baseball history that he would share, would leave me wanting more. When Todd came up with the idea of presenting Jack with a replica St. Louis Browns jersey #33, I could not think of a better recognition of Jack. On more than one occasion he shared with he "I wish I would have kept that jersey". Jack, I will really miss you. R.I.P.

Going to miss my buddy the past 15 years of working together has been a blessing, from Rays baseball where we both were named employee of the month together, to The Lightning where I got him the Browns jersey. He would always get me tickets when his unit did the honor guard at Tropicana field. It was a great to have our paths cross. Wish I could be there Monday to all that knew Jack he was a treasure
Our fondest memories of working with Jack will include his voice telling us..."Doors are open! Mary, Doors are open! and "Premium is closed, premium is closed." May his family find peace in knowing that Jack was loved by many.

Jack was one of our residents here at Osprey Heights, it was always nice to see him. He was always smiling and had a kind word to share. He was an incredibly patient man with his wife and took very good care of her. There will never be another Jack!
