Hope M. Garcia's Obituary
Hope Garcia, 79, of Pembroke Pines Florida passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Hope Garcia, wife, mother, grandmother and sister, lost her long battle with ovarian cancer.
Hope was born and raised and lived most of her life in the Tampa Bay Area. She had a wonderful smile and bright eyes that could light up a room. Hope graduated from Jefferson High School in 1956 and married her high school sweetheart, John, that same year. Hope was a dedicated and hard worker throughout her life, including over 27 years with the Anthony Abraham Auto Group. She retired in 2002. In 2003, she and John moved to South Florida to be closer to their grandchildren.
Hope was the consummate mother and grandmother. Family and friends were Hope’s love and joy. Abuela’s unwavering belief in the possibilities and potential of each member of the family provided the support to help all of us to tackle life’s ups and downs.
Hope is survived and forever remembered by her husband and best friend John, her son Art, her precious grandchildren Mary Ashley, Elizabeth and Daniel, and her sister and brother-in-law Grace and Alfred, and a host of other family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday April 14, 2018 from 1pm-2pm with a service following at 2pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Memory Gardens 11005 N. US Hey 301 Thonotosassa FL 33592.
