Henry Stoltzfus Zook's Obituary
Henry Stoltzfus Zook, 82, passed away September 25, 2015. He was born March 14, 1933 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to the late Moses and Melinda (Stoltzfus) Zook. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, John and Levi; and sisters, Jemima and Pricilla.
Henry came to Sarasota County in 1970 from Three Rivers, Michigan and attended Abundant Life Church. He enjoyed playing cards, cutting quilt blocks for charities and spending time with his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Rosa; sons, Vernon Zook and his wife Laurie of Sarasota and John Zook and his wife Teri of Sarasota; daughter, Mary Zook of Dallas, Texas; brother, Amos Zook and his wife Mary of Strasburg, Pennsylvania; sister, Mary King of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Crystal, Shauna, Daniel, Brenton, Rochelle and Spencer; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Sterlin, Mayce, Kinsley, Peyton and Beckett.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at Abundant Life Church, 6461 Proctor Road, Sarasota, Florida 34241. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM followed by interment in Palms Memorial Park.
