Henry A Saavedra's Obituary
Henry A. Saavedra, 91, passed away on April 17, 2021. Henry was a native and lifelong resident of Tampa. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp with the occupational forces in Japan. He retired after 26 years from Sears as the District Operations Manager and was also past President and Vice-President of the Tampa Bay Sears Retiree Club. He was a founding member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and a member of the choir for over 30 years. Preceded by his wife, Norma, of 68 years. Survivors include his son, Henry G. and wife Carla, granddaughters, a niece and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lifepath Hospice. A private service was held for the family.
