Helen Takacs Nagy's Obituary
Helen Nagy, 93, became heaven’s newest angel on August 30, 2016. Many Tampa residents knew her as the Forest Hills Lunchroom Lady. Her family knew her as a fun loving, caring and understanding mom, grandma and great grandma. She loved to travel and for many years Helen was involved in numerous organizations such as American Legion Post 334, Hungarian National Liberty Club and Most Holy Redeemer Church.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Valentine Takacs; husband, Eugene Nagy; son, Michael Nagy and grandson, Michael Nagy, Jr.
She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her sister, Theresa Cerretani; nephew, Bruce Cerretani and family; niece, Ellen Greco; daughter, Louise Reece; granddaughter, Candy and Scott Perry; great grandson, Joshua Perry; grandson, Charles & Diana Reece; daughter-in-law, Janet Swift; granddaughter, Janeen & Randy Peterson; great-grandchildren, Samantha & Faron Bastion.
Helen’s caregiver, Rhonda, is the most thoughtful and caring person that our family was blessed with in the time of needs.
There will be a graveside service Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 11:00 am at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Memories and condolences may be left online at www.sunset-fh.com.
