Helen Maxine Ray Floyd has passed away. She is survived by her children Janice and Richard Sandwick, John and Sharon Floyd, David and Sue Floyd, Annette Cartwright and Henrietta Floyd. Grandchildren Lori and Tim Fulton, Michael and Zandra Floyd, Jon Floyd, Teresa and Ben Cost, David Floyd Jr., Justin Wilson, Katherine and Benico Perez, her great grandchildren Josh Fulton, Brittaney Babb, Gabrielle Babb, Madison Babb, Bradley Bacon, Madison Wilson, Kaitlyn Wilson, Jaden Wilson, Benson cost, Stone Cost, Lorelei Perez, Ariella Perez, Lailah Perez, Great Great grandchild Paton Fulton.
Helen was born March 5, 1924. She married Bobby Joe Floyd. During World War II she was a riveter on B 29 bomber. In her senior year of high school, she had her own band called Swing and Sway with Helen Ray. She was a seamstress. Mom and Dad opened their own family upholstery business. She went back to college in her 40’s for accounting and also for business management. In her 60s she went back to college to learn to speak Spanish and numerous other things that it’s just too long to list. Mom was well loved by all. Mom was gifted and blessed by God. She will be met in Heaven by her husband Bobby Joe Floyd, son Bobby Joe and Kaye Floyd Jr. and grandson Kevin Scott Floyd and James Babb., great great grandchild Travis Fulton.
