Hector Rios Gonzalez's Obituary
Hector Rios Gonzalez, 57, of Tampa, Florida, passed away surrounded by his loving family. Hector, a devout Jehovah’s Witness, was born on December 31, 1960 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, to Santos Rios and Ana L. Gonzalez. Hector was the Lead Support Analyst for Marriott Vacation Resorts and enjoyed tinkering with all sorts of technology. Hector could never sit still and had a true appreciation for everything around him. He found something to enjoy everywhere he went. However, his true joy in life was spending time with family and friends and being “Papi”.
Hector is survived by his loving wife Ivett; his children Alexander S. Rios and wife Heather, Angela M. Rios, Bianca I. Langston and husband Rodney, Brenda Y. Salvatierra and husband Alonso, and Lenin E. Matos; seven grandchildren; mother Ana L. Gonzalez; sisters Iraida Rios and Rose M. Rios-Insua and husband Michael; niece Alyssah J. Insua; mother-in-law Maria L. Colon; and a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 4 pm, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 10911 North 52nd Street, Temple Terrace, Florida 33617.
