Gweneth Nicholls' Obituary
Gweneth Nicholls, 88, passed away March 15, 2016. She was born June 20, 1927 in Neptune, New Jersey to the late Miles and Marie Cecil. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold; sister, Myra; brother, Robert and son-in-law, Tony.
Gweneth lived in Tampa and Plant City from 1959 to 2015. She was Episcopalian and loved to spend time with her family, crochet, read and knit. She spent her career as a hairdresser and was a member of the Daughters of the Cross and the Alter Guild. Gweneth was a volunteer for Hospice in Plant City and for the South Florida Baptist Hospital Auxiliary for many years.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Ninette Stevens and her husband Mark of Plant City, Florida and Lindey Herrington of Clearwater; Florida; son, Philip Nicholls and his wife Kimberly of Lecanto, Florida; grandchildren, Tiffany, David, Joy, Amanda, Josh, Jason and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Molly, Sydney, Cooper, Anna and Sadie.
Funeral service will be Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
