Geraldine Ratcliff's Obituary
Geraldine Ratcliff, 91, of Plant City passed away on August 4, 2021. She was born to Joseph and Hassie Lee Lewis in Cardinal, KY on January 7, 1930. Geraldine is survived by her children: Guy and Carol; grandchildren: Travis and Amy; great grandchildren: Dallas and Mae. She enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques, and homemaking. Geri was a kind and caring soul, full of life and love for friends and family and Her Lord.
She loved tending the scores of doves in her back yard when she wasn’t on her many travels and adventures with her beloved husband Guy.
She was a 50 year member of the Elks Lodge of Plant City where at any give time you might hear harrowing tales like being shot in the neck at age 11, driving her race car off a 75 foot embankment or waking up in a burning motor home at her favorite spot, the Nascar track
Everyone has their own precious memories of her that will last us a lifetime. Mainly, Mom loved Jesus and her favorite saying was "Just trust in the Lord." A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 14 from 11-12 at Sunset Funeral Home with a service at 12.A graveside service will follow.
