Frank Alvie Cothron's Obituary
Frank Alvie Cothron, 87, passed away September 6, 2016. He was born March 5, 1929 in Kathleen, Florida to the late Robert and Bertie (Jackson) Cothron. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Jackie; and granddaughter, Nicole.
Frank came to Tampa in 1965 from Kathleen, Florida. He was a Baptist and a member of Masonic Lodge #251. He loved to hunt and fish.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 66 years, Gussie; daughter, Pat Miley; sons, Terry and Johnny Cothron; grandchildren, Pamela Couch, Daniel Miley, James Miley, Jr., Janet Turner and Derek Cothron; great-grandchildren, Donovan Couch, Marissa Miley, Alyssa Miley, Daniel Miley, Jr., Jessica Miley, Alec Miley, Trey Miley, Makayla Miley, Kennedy and Cody Turner and Kelsey Roller; great great grandchild, Makenzie Gaarder.
There will be a visitation on Friday, September 9, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Masonic and funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00 pm also at Sunset Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.
