Francisco Lugo Jr, 82, passed away In Tampa, FL on July 26th, 2026.
Born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico on July 19th, 1944 to Francisco Lugo Jr and Monserrate Lugo (Perez). He met the love of his life, Delfina, in New Jersey while dancing. Francisco had a great love for fishing, travelling, nature, and taking cruises. He was a lover of classical and country music and even attended Grand Ole Opry.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Monserrate Lugo; his siblings Eddie, Hector, Gory, and Gladys. He is survived by his daughters Carmelina Rodriguez and Nancy Figueroa; sons Francisco Lugo Jr, Orlando Lugo, and Osvaldo Lugo; siblings Julia, Ramon, Angel, Jorge, Rigoberto, Jose, Lourdes, and Olga; and Grandchildren Christina and Kiara. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He will be deeply missed and cherished by many.
A wake will be held at Sunset Funeral Home located at 11005 N US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592 on Monday, August 3rd, 2026 from 5pm-8pm. A funeral mass and graveside service will be held at a later date at Zylka Funeral Home and Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
