Fidel Santana Jr's Obituary
Fidel “Junior” Santana, Jr. was born on June 21, 1964, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Fidel Santana and Rosa Davila. At a young age, Junior proudly enlisted in the U.S. Army in San Juan, Puerto Rico, fulfilling his duty to serve his country. Though his time in the military was brief, the experiences and lessons he gained remained with him throughout his life.
Junior married his high school sweetheart, Luz M. Gonzalez in 1983, and together they built a loving family, welcoming four children: Tasha, Fidel III (“Macho”), Kevin, and Shanice.
Junior was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who worked tirelessly to provide for his family. Many times, he held two jobs to ensure his loved ones never went without. A true craftsman at heart, he found joy in creating and working with his hands, always eager to finish one project and start the next. His humor, lively spirit, and infectious personality made him the center of any gathering, bringing laughter and warmth to all who knew him.
Junior was preceded in death by his grandmothers Providencia Galarza Davila, Isabel Rodriguez and his father, Fidel Santana Sr.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his devoted partner, Luz Santana; his children, Tasha (Roosevelt), Fidel III (Charetta), Kevin (Karina), and Shanice (Kelvin); his mother, Rosa Santana; his siblings, Carlos (Maria), Rafael (Wanda), and Marisel (Jose); and his eight beloved grandchildren: Déshaun, Jeremias, Jaylin, Bernard, Fidel IV, Noah, Kelianice, and Angelise. He is also survived by a host of extended family and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Junior’s love, hard work, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
