Fè Q. Acuña's Obituary
Fé Javelosa Quiambao Acuña lived 90 full years. She was born in Lucena City, Philippines on April 24th 1934 and worked as a pharmacist. She passed away in Royal Palm Beach, Florida on September 5th, 2024. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 plus years, Amado Evarle Acuña, her son Roman and wife Rowena, daughter Clarissa and husband Robert, son Theodoro, and daughter, Marides and husband Daniel. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren Rachel, Robert III, Isaiah, Roman John, Ryanne, Giovanna, Daniel III, Ren, Tadeusz, Gianni, and Josiah, and great grand-daughter Zyrah.
She was known to most by the name Nay, which means Mom. Her sacrificial love for her family overflowed to everyone around her. She lived a long life of loving and caring for everyone in her path. She left the pharmacy she had owned and operated in the Philippines for a better life for her family in America. Nay and her husband petitioned for many of her sisters and brothers to bring them from the Philippines to join them in the States. They brought them into their home and cared for them and their families until they were on their feet. She worked as a pharmacy ivy technician during that time in her life, and still found time to feed and care for everyone in her home. Long after midnight, she could be found in the kitchen, cooking, cleaning and finally resting, only to do it again the next morning for many years.
Decades later, Nay made it her practice to go and live with each of her children when they had their own children. She would help care for her newborn grandchildren, cook, clean and do laundry, pouring out her love on the new family through the sleepless nights that accompany a newborn.
She never complained and never told you if she was in pain. Her sole focus was on pouring out her love for those around her. She remains an example for everyone who knew her. She loves Jesus. She loved those around her. Oh, that the world was filled with those who followed her example. It would be a beautiful place. Just as she was beautiful.
Nay, you are the icon, the example for what a mother should aspire to. Always faithful, always loving, always selfless, beautiful inside and out.
