Ernesto O. Nuñez's Obituary
Ernesto Nuñez was born on October 28, 1952, in Perico, Matanzas, Cuba. He passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025. He was a resident of Tampa, Florida at the time of his passing. He immigrated to the United States with his Father, Mother, and siblings from Cuba on July 7, 1966. He attended Union Hill High School, in Union City, New Jersey. He was a printer (lithographer) by profession, working in New York, New Jersey, and Tampa for 45 years. Ernesto was passionate about history, devoted to his family, and committed to the dream of a free Cuba. Ernesto is preceded in death by his parents, Domingo Nuñez and Esther Horta Nuñez. Ernesto is survived by his wife of 48 years, Guadalupe; his daughter, Yvette; his son-in-law, Aaron; his grandson, Stephen; his siblings, Luis, Tony, Juana Maria, and Raquel; his nieces and nephews, Esther, Rita, Emilio, Frank, and Raquel; and by his beloved great nieces and nephews, Ella, Marcus, Daniel, Emilio Armando, Vincent, Victoria, and William.
