Erma Evelyn Crowell's Obituary
Erma Evelyn Crowell, 87, passed away March 15, 2017. She was born July 8, 1929 in Colrain, Massachusetts to the late Adolphus and Olivine (Nadeau) Root. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; siblings, Adolphus, Ann, Lawrence, Delia and Alfred “Skip”.
Erma came to Tampa in 1972 from Hinsdale, New Hampshire. She enjoyed playing computer games, reading, puzzles, cross stitching and quilting. She retired from Tampa General Hospital after 27 years of service as a nursing assistant.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kellyanne Bronleewe and her husband Scott of Tampa; Denise C. Harris and her husband Peter C. of Montrose, Colorado; and Edwina E. Baker of Lutz; sons, Wayne L. Crowell and his wife Kim of Lebanon, Tennessee; and Vincent Crown of Hensdale, New Hampshire; sisters, Ilene Bridges of Phoenix, Arizona; and Sylvia Ogsbury of Tampa; brothers, Albert Root of Vernon, Vermont; and Donald Root of Zephyrhills; grandchildren, Carrianne, Vincent Jr, Nathan E, Erica D, Trever, Kristen, Cameron and Fannie; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandson, Landon.
There will be a funeral service to be announced soon at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Memories and condolences may be left online at www.sunset-fh.com.
